Francis is a first class horticulturist as well as an artist. Over 5 years ago he designed our landscape, using a wide variety of plants. Since then he has done many other projects for us, including providing technical oversight of our lawn maintenance company. Francis is knowledgeable, personable and reliable and our yard is frequently said to be "the nicest in the neighborhood." We recommend him without reservation.
Without a doubt- Francis - owner of Quality Landscape- is the most knowledgeable horticulturist/landscaper I have ever met. His knowledge on plants and trees and flowers is pretty much unsurpassed. Not only that- but his designs are personal, functional, and yet so stylish. He is very much a perfectionist and his emphasis on attention to detail and making sure that the plants and design are perfect is consistently evident in all of his work. Our experience with QLS was top-notch. Francis' initial presentation introduced us to plants we would not have otherwise considered, and he was able to take two spouses' different but related visions of the ideal tropical landscape and create one beautiful design. His design's major elements blended with the neighbors' themes but set our garden apart in subtle, colorful ways. We wanted "more than just plants"-- we wanted to know how to take care of our landscape for years down the road. We desperately needed landscaping and had no idea what to do or how to begin. Francis spent time with us getting to know our home and lifestyle. He presented a very well thought out and detailed plan complete with pictures of all the plants, flowers and trees he recommended. He was both patient and flexible, working with us to change design and plants to suit our taste and budget.
He totally transformed the exterior of our home. He designed and oversaw every aspect of the project, from the installation of a new paver driveway, to the repair of an existing deck and stone work, to paint colors and mailbox design. He and his crew tore out all existing plants and trees and replaced them with incredible healthy and mature ones. The irrigation was expanded and lighting installed. We relied on his expertise and judgment and he never let us down. The result is something we are loving every day and both neighbors and strangers alike stop and compliment.
His design and work have far exceeded our expectations. I must say his attention to detail and continued service is impressive. It has been well over a month since the job has been completed and full payment made, yet, a couple times a week his truck will pull into our driveway. He is here checking on plants, trimming branches and fertilizing the sod. He is a truly dedicated professional who takes great pride in his work and is a pleasure to do business with.
